Request a loan
Works from the Jan De Smedt Collection may be requested on temporary loan for an exhibition in Belgium or abroad. However, a positive answer to such a request can only be envisaged if the exhibition in question provides real added value to the work requested on loan.
All our loans are subject to the King Baudouin Foundation’s general terms and conditions regarding insurance, transport, conservation, security and communication. These terms and conditions may be obtained upon simple request.
Each request for a loan is carefully examined and submitted to the curator of the institution where the work is kept. The Management Committee of the Raphaël De Smedt Fund is also systematically consulted.
